Sewing for Home Ec

The girls did a sewing project making mismatched mitts into stuffed toys. They really enjoyed it and keep looking for more mitts to use. I might have to get some mitts when they go on sale for. For their first attempt at sewing they did really well.

We are almost ready for Christmas here, decorations are up inside, gifts are all wrapped and under the tree, now we are just waiting for everyone to get here. Praying that everyone will have safe travels, and we can't wait to see you.

Gratitudes
1. After another school shooting I am especially grateful that my kids are here and safe and I am hugging them extra tight right now. My prayers are with all those families that don't have their children to hold.
2. That Mom, Tracey, Riley, Matthew and Aunt Jacquie and Uncle Russ are coming for Christmas this year.
3. That I have found another garbage bag of stuff to get rid of, thats 3 big orange bags in the past 3 weeks. Everytime I put something into that bag a feel a lightness, but there is still lots too go.
