I haven't posted in awhile since things have been so busy around here. We had a great visit with Dad, Vadie and Oma. Tracey and Matthew came out and spent the time here too, so we had some 5 generation pictures taken.

The twins have finished their swimming lessons and will take another set in the fall, Frank will be going into level 7 and Jake will be going into level 6. Emily is registered for level 1 in August. The twins both got chosen to go to cadet camp again this summer. Frank will be doing the Introduction to Rifle Coach in Penhold and Jake will be doing the Introduction to Survival in Cold Lake. We haven't been given any dates yet so we are still waiting on that. In the meantime they are finishing up their school work. They are already studying for finals for LA and Socials and are finishing up work and then doing finals in Science and Math.

Emily has finished all her school work and is pretty happy about that. We picked up her grade 2 science and socials curriculum and will be starting to work through that in the summer. She is taking gymnastics until the end of June and is really enjoying it. We will be registering her for it again in the fall.

David is finishing up in his classes and is getting ready for grad. Graduation day is June 5th so we will be heading out to Okotoks for that day. Tracey, Riley and Matthew are planning to come and Grandpa Don is coming out from B.C. for it too. David is still working at New York Fries and is planning on taking some computer courses at the local college. Hopefully he will get himself organized and registered soon.

My poor gardens. What is up with this crazy weather? For the past 2 days we have had mixed snow and rain and wind warnings.
I am sooo ready for winter to be over!!!

Yesterday we went on a tour of the hospital with some other homeschool families. They were shown the pediatrics ward and the different equipment you might see in your room if you have to go to the hospital. They say x-rays of the body and the x-ray machine, and they saw the ambulance bay, paramedics and they equipment they use. Of course the best part of the tour was the ambulance lights and sirens. LOL!!
