Our furnace is paid off!!!! We had a new furnace installed in the beginning of December and decided to go with the high efficiency one. We had some of the money saved for it but wanted to get it put in before the cold weather came. We applied for financing for the furnace, and ended up getting it fully covered with a loan that had no interest for 3 months. So we made the decision to have it completely paid off before the interest started. The interest would have started on March 15th so we paid it off a month and a half ahead of schedule. YAY!!!

We decided that we would like to have the rest of the debt paid off by the end of the year. We have gone over all the bills and this should be possible if we are careful.

Two years ago we started trying to get out of debt. We decided that if having payments was normal we definitely didn't want to be normal(not that we were anyways). This is where we started and where we are now:
