The girls decorating cupcakes with the leftover icing. As you can see they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. School is out for Easter break so Destiny and Emily get to hang out and play all day. They are both very happy about it.

Did everyone have a wonderful Easter? We had a turkey dinner on Sunday night after Rob got home from work. He worked the whole weekend so his next cheque should be a nice one.

Yesterday Joe came and picked the boys up and took them to a movie. They saw Clash of the Titans and all of them really enjoyed it. The girls played in the yard while I raked the gardens out. After dinner Emily and I went to Sparks and picked up a few cases of cookies. We did door to door sales for an hour and she sold 2 cases. She knocked on each of the doors and asked everyone herself, all I did was carry the box and make change for her. Since deciding she isn't shy anymore she has come a long way.

Happy April's Fools Day!!

I made the spaghetti and meatballs cake for the kids. They all think it is hilarious and can't wait to have some after lunch.
It is a cupcake cake with icing noodles, ferrero rocher chocolates for meatballs and strawberry jam for the sauce.

Frank and Jake all ready for their disco night at youth group. They went shopping with some of the kids from youthgroup and this is what they came back with.

Today we are going to take the kids up to the leisure center and swim for the morning. Then we will be picking up one of the twins friends and coming home. I am assuming that the boys will probably be playing on the wii or computers and Emily will be playing with Faith. I am going to make apple crisp and some cupcakes.

I made these in February and framed them last week. They are gifts for christmas this year. I am trying to do more homemade gifts this year and to get them done early. We will see how it goes.

Emily's hawaiian night at sparks. They made grass skirts out of garbage bags, broke a pinata and each got a lei. They also made a suncatcher each. She had a great time.

The boys have had 2 swimming lessons each and they are doing great. We signed Emily up for gymnastics since her level of swimming lessons was already full. We will see about getting her into swim lessons in the next session.

Over the past 3 weeks we have gone bowling 3 times with some of the other homeschool families and the kids had a blast. The boys all bowled together and competed of course. Emily bowled with another family that had 2 younger kids and she made friends with the little girl.

Yesterday at swim lessons she decided to talk to another little girl and they made friends. Considering how painfully shy she normally is, this was a huge thing for her. When the little girl left Emily came over and informed me that making friends is easy and she has decided she is not going to be shy anymore. LOL!!

Another picture of my grandson. So baby and mom are at home now and both doing great.

Now I am working on getting me and the kids onto a schedule and trying to get rid of a cold.

Yesterday we cleaned up the twins room and most of Emily's. Hopefully today we will get the shelves in her room organized and then I can say her room is done too.

My oldest child is a mommy now and I am a grandma!! Here is Auntie Emily holding her nephew.
He was born this afternoon at 3:48pm and weighed 7lbs and 11oz. They have named him Matthew Clifford. I might be a little bit biased but I think he could be one of the cutest babies ever.

Tigger having a nap. Tracey and Riley are staying with us so they brought Tigger, Lizzie and Bear out with them too. They are the babies that can't be left alone yet.

This morning Tracey and Riley headed to the hospital, the dr has decided to induce her. Hopefully my first grandchild will be here later today.

A few weeks ago our neighbour asked us to go out to a friends place and see a foal. The baby was 4 days old and the kids thought it was really cute. We got to watch it exercise and pet it. The last picture is of Kathleen feeding the mom. We also got to see the other horses they had and of course Emily got to see and pet all the cats. We managed to get pictures of 4 of the cats but the rest ran off. I was really impressed with the fact that the cats had toys and beds to sleep in all set up in the barn. There were 10 cats and the owners were taking really good care of them and they were all fixed.
